I have Smith, Dugdale and Minnis from years ago which have stood the test of time rather well. Harrison, Bateman Ogden and Lesser "ageing" beautifully. Some get worn more than others as inevitably there are favourites, but if it doesn't get to say 10 years but has been worn with pleasure a lot during that time, is that a bad thing? I don't keep my Astons or Bentleys that long, but I have Patek and Cartier that are older. Not sure, but I think it's about how much pleasure, rather than how many years, which actually counts.

I´m not saying my loved ones are not important, but one of the main reasons why I try to maintain the weight off my waist and the muscle on my shoulders, is to be able to keep wearing the wardrobe I had built in the last 20 years. Good incentive!
