You're invited to the long-awaited New York Theatrical Premiere of MEN OF THE CLOTH, a portrait of 3 Italian master tailors, with screenings on January 8th, 14th and 25th. Yes, I would attend a London viewing. I won't get a pass for NY - children dictate my social calendar now :D

It is probably a bit naive and day-dreaming to say so... but hey -- I would attend a Moscow viewing, if there would be one.

I attended a screening with my 79-year-old bench tailor and his friends - all Italians with personal ties to the tailoring trade. Men of the Cloth was a moving story, and a catalyst to an evening of reminiscence and outlook over wine and company. Our group had left the theatre, but the story continued to write itself.

Brava Vicki!

Regards.

A late friend and mentor of mine learned tailoring as a child in Sicily and I think because of this connection I also found this film very moving.

It really puts the life of us tailor's into perspective!
