A very well dressed man who knows his business. Note the horizontal stripes on the shirt, sober navy blue knit tie and elegant gray suit. If you need to dress to do business, you can't go very wrong with that look as a model.

I love this video. The difference of Style between these two persons is smashing.
On one hand you have a middle aged man, not especially good looking, and on the other a young to middle aged person, objectively far better looking.
Of course we could focus on the difference of pure clothing elegance, but it'd be far too obvious and mean for Mr Brûlé on the right.
The striking thing IMO is the real Elegance of Mr; zegna. The way he stands, smiles, speaks is full of self awareness, serenity and confidence. Compare this to his counterpart...
I'm not especially gay (or don't think I am) but I am far more attracted to Mr. Zegna than Mr Burnt.

I have to admit to quite liking Tyler Brulé's style: he has made the Boglioli blazer, open neck shirt and quality knitwear his signature look. However in this interview he has made the mistake of wearing too-high collars for his physique.
But Gildo has an aura about him that is hard to define. He is elegance personified.
Whether or not I would like to make love to either of them is a different matter.

Gentlemen, we seem to be having some unexpected entertainment here todayRob O wrote: Whether or not I would like to make love to either of them is a different matter.

A propos, Mr Brule's partner, who is a clothier, came to the LL Fox flannel launch in London. He liked the collection.
Brule, while not a style icon, is certainly to be admired for his writing skill and entrepreneurial talent. The Monocle is a must.

Wholeheartedly agree with you, Michael, on Monocle. On this thread alone, I can think of 3 members who are Monocle readers.
Do you think LL keeps Monocle alive, expanding the subset of 3 to the rest of the forum?

You might have sex with one and make love to the other. At least that's what their looks suggest...davidhuh wrote:Pierre Spies wrote: I'm not especially gay (or don't think I am) but I'd be far more attracted to Mr. Zegna than Mr Burnt.Gentlemen, we seem to be having some unexpected entertainment here todayRob O wrote: Whether or not I would like to make love to either of them is a different matter.

"Are you blue or are you gray?" - that's what I remember an old(er) question of Michael's sounded like. Perhaps part of the answer to the preference for one end of the microphone over the other in this interview lies in that question.
