A Linen suit
I found it in an old basement store in Athens as I was strolling around in March ..Irish linen around 400gr maybe more . My tailor loved making in and I was quite comfortable wearing it the other day under 38 degrees

Great looking cloth and suit. I am having one similar db made up with path pockets and Smith Woollens' linen.
Beautiful. Compliments to tailor and bespeaker alike. I like the DAKS tops--especially in warm weather.

Inspirational ! This is perfection. Everything comes together with simple harmony. From the colour of the buttons to the rise of the trousers. I had little interest in Linen, but I have seen the light! You are a sharp dressed man! Congratulations!

Would love to hear where the Irish linen came from and also whatever you'd like to share about the internals of the suit as well. I've often wondered with linen suits like this what type of canvas is used and whether or not shoulder pads are used or not.
Who knows the linen mill might still be around.
