Indeed. I nearly almost made up my mind not to go to LSE because of the state of black tie there. :D

Does anybody know if I can choose to specify how open I want my quarters during the basted fitting? I had previously shown a picture, that unfortunately, had closed quarters, but that did not catch my attention till date.

Am wondering if it's too late to specify that during the basted fitting.

I am fairly certain that that could be done. In general what is there can be cut away as far as I understand these things. I recommend you ring your tailor and ask him if he has cut the cloth already and then discuss the matter with him.
