On one hand, the trust and respect it takes a customer to do that. I like it very much. You know your job, you know me, so I have no need to check on you.
On the other hand, the responsibility the tailor should feel when confronted with that attitude, honoring the customer's trust. Perhaps much more than if he knew his worked was "checked" in the mirror at every fitting.
I suppose any human relationship in which one doesn't feel confident to offer this kind of trust is just a waste of time...
