Hi,
Does anyone know what cloth is used in the DB currently displayed in A&S's window?
thanks, Rowly

Are you referring to the pinstripe one? By coincidence, I was in there last week casually examining it whilst waiting and it seemed to be one of their flannel specials with the double stripes. I really like it and, undoubtedly, another wallet-depleting project on the horizon.

Yes , a grey stripe db.( not sure if it was a pin, chalk, rope etc.). I hadn't time to go in. However, I could see at a glance that it looked superb. I have made mistakes in the past selecting from swatches, and I find it difficult to see discernible differences in quality between various books, whereas in the finished suit it is clearly evident. If I knew this cloth I would have it made up in an instant...without having to worry if I had picked the right colour, stripe width etc. If anyone knows the cloth, or even the book it might be from ...I would be very grateful?
thanks, Rowly

Why not drop them a friendly email and ask? A&S have been very happy to let me know what cloth their window dispays were wearing when I have been sufficiently moved to ask in the past - notably in my case the magnificent PoW flannel that seems to make an annual appearance (Hardy's 15oz #0323).

If you go to their website, there is a wonderful double stripe at "our cloths" and "specials." I can't remember if they've done a display coat in that, but I wouldn't be surprised.
