Gentlemen:

I wish to change a suit's buttons. What buttons are preferred? What is a good source for buttons? Many thanks!

when I have ever had to match buttons I've gone to 19 Old Burlington Street 0207 734 7151 - never known the name. Horn, mother of pearl, plastic and self-covered cloth are the usual ones.

NJS -

I am in the U.S. It's not worth a trip across the pond for buttons. Are you or any of the other members aware of good on-line sources?

Trey - I'd just say that if you needed standard issue say black mother of pearl for a DB or SB they could mail them. To be frank I don't know a certain on-line supplier.
