The first two of my shirts have arrived. The collars are slightly different. The white shirt has the collar that Mimmo and Francesca agreed would suit me best. The collar of the blue shirt is based on my existing shirts (very close to the Hilditch & Key cutaway).
What do you think?
My Mimmo Siviglia shirts arrived - PICS
It's difficult to tell anything from pictures of folded up shirts. Even collars lay quite differently when folded than they do when worn.
As it is, they look like fine shirts, but no better or worse (or different) from any number of other makes.
Have you tried them on yet?

i'm a bit too shy to post photos of myself wearing them, but hopefully it is still possible to appreciate the fine construction of these shirts

Maybe some closeups of stitching? Does Sivligia use any handstitching?
How about some photos of the smaller details - yoke, buttons, buttonholes, gussets?

Sure, I will take these detailed photos when I receive the remainder of the shirts.Cantabrigian wrote:Maybe some closeups of stitching? Does Sivligia use any handstitching?
