Hello all,
As discussed in this topic I have come to the insight that I should favour a few well made MTM/ bespoke shirts above lots of RTW shirts which force me to compromise on fit and quality.
I am aware that Borrelli are considered good shirt makers, and I have limited experience wearing these. What to think of the other labels mentioned? I certainly have no experience with these labels and I would like to ask fellow LL-members for advice. Being well aware of forum etiquette, I already used the search function, but to no avail. You may use the poll to make your preference known, please be so kind to write up the reasons behind your choice.
Kind regards,
Don

As I gather from your website and the information you are posting, you are one of the artisans and as such I am happy to learn that you are taking the time to answer these kind of questions. But to be honest, it does bring up other questions. I wonder whether you would be inclined to offer a bit more insight.
I have been looking into Charvet shirts and I understand that people of stature such as the Duke of Windsor, have made it famous:

However, is there a way, short of 'hopping to Paris' to visit their store?
I am asking this, because it might be a tad out of reach just yet to go to Paris to have shirts made grand-mesure or demi-mesure. I truly would like to know what Charvet offers that Borrelli (for example) doesn't. I searched the Styleforum and AAAC for this information and I have not been able to find it.
Best,
Don

I should have mentioned that I am Dutch... have added location info to my profile now. Thank you for the suggestion though.
