My I disagree. You will undoubtedly wear these so often, that a replacement will be required before soon (maybe a decade or so).
My best shoes and clothes always wear most quickly. And that is down to use, not durability.

My compliments for enduring the trans-Atlantic production. Your tale illustrates an increasingly familiar scenario: paying top (deflating) dollars to simply have the job done right. Although I am not in a business, I have wondered about the pricing of these luxury goods: only a large House can redo with a smile? Would offering the remedy be economically impossible for a small Artisan? Perhaps I am unreasonable, but at those prices the shoes should be perfect shouldn't they? Those of us in the outposts (Washington) don't even get the benefit of the US visits in most cases. I envy those bespokers who get the opportunity to abort or correct a work in progress.[/b]
