Formerly I was occasionally able to pick up an copy of the French magazine Monsieur at the magazine stand in Selfridges. I have drawn a blank on the last two or three visits and now the rather ill- informed staff there tell me the magazine is no longer published. I think they mean it is no longer carried by them. Can anyone shed any light on this and if the magazine is still published if they know of where in London it is obtainable? Thanks in advance for any information.

You might try RD Franks. I am unable to advise you of whether the magazine is still published. RD Franks are a good source of advice on all "fashion" magazines and books.

I have not heard that the magazine was not published any more. It certainly was a few months ago when I last bought it, I will check if I can, still find it.

I picked up a copy when I was in Paris back in February. My favorite newsstand here in NYC does not seem to carry it anymore. Perhaps rumors of its demise are true?

Hmm - I received the March-April issue last month. It includes a nice article on bespoke luggage makers and a profile of Zino Davidoff. Their website is http://www.monsieur.fr.
