Thanks, I have heard Tip Top is great. Unfortunately it isn't all that easy to get to. I have passed a number that look interesting on the Lower East Side, I just don't know which to frequent.

Try Singer Fabric on Delancy Street ( cross street is Eldridge).

They carry both high end as well as lower end wollens. I have never been disappointed.
