Hello,

I find myself new to the forum and very intersted in the Art of the Tailor. I myself am in a very intersting situation. Im currently learning the 18th Century Tailors trade at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, within the Department of Historic Trades. As my studies continue I have grown very interested in Tradition within the trade and elsewhere. In the 18th Century it is an ancient practice to sit upon the Worboard to tend to sewing, does any still continue in this practice?

Are there any other traditions within the trade that are just understood that tailors do?

Im very sorry if this is posted in the wrong section, I wasnt sure where to post it.
