Hopefully this one will cross the finish line. Very few high twist tropical with a soft drape.

None that I can find. I have been told that Piuma is very close to Brisa in appearance and finish.

Having been fortunate enough to have a test length of the Fiston made up, I would strongly encourage members to make a commitment. Beautiful cloth.

Babbo is also a dealbreaker for me. I am in for the Fiston quality.

I had my first fitting of the Fiston RAF herringbone check sample cloth and it is something very special.

Stick with the traditional formal striped trousers and black barathea tails and waistcoat. It will be worn in daylight, so there isn’t any reason to go midnight blue. It’s a classic and timeless look. Avoid plaids and puppytooths so you don’t stick out like a sore thumb. Definitely avoid plain grey ...
