Gentlemen,
I have posted this in the style forum as well (LL was down) as it made quite an impression on me. My wife says the going price for couture gowns is approximately that (and believes this is even a bargain)!! Is this really the case?

This link might help explain why couture is so expensive. It's dreadfully expensive for a dress that only get worn once or twice, but that's the whole point really, the exclusivity
