Hello,

Are the Harris, Brora, NHTC ... tweeds 2 x 2 ply typically?
Does anyone have an idea of anyone experimenting with 2 ply yarns where each of strands is of different material. i.e. one strand is shetland wool, the other cashmere or mohair?

Thanks

H Lesser ran (has) a limited series of 4 ply jacketings. Very nice, porous, but warm. The barleycorns sold out quickly. These are not blends, rather pure wool.
