Hello LL community,
I'd like to know if anybody of you know Karl Friedrich Brucker. He's a bespoke tailor in Hamburg, Germany and seems to have a good reputation (at least in Germany). He has a nice website.
Does anyone of you have any experience with him?
Bespoke Tailor Karl Friedrich Brucker
I haven't, but I'd be interested in viewing his website. Have you the URL?
Thanks, Jackson. It does look interesting.
One of Mr. Brucker's statements:
"Was waere Cary Grant ohne Massanzug?"
A question to ponder...

Well, he'd still be remembered as handsome -- tailored clothing merely heightened his good looks: a point for those of us less-endowed by nature to keep in mind as we enter our tailors' shops.Costi wrote:. . . ."Was waere Cary Grant ohne Massanzug?" . . . .
I'm glad to know there is a good tailor in Hamburg. In Buddenbrooks. The Decline of a Family, Thomas Mann sends his main character to a tailor in Hamburg, because this character will never compromise on his clothes, not even in a situation where his business is about to collapse.
