The other day I was looking through one of my many books on men's classic style, and I thought to myself about the many people throughout my life who have influenced me towards classic style.

Even before meeting or discovering these people I had an idea what classic and timeless style meant, but these people have educated and inspired me.

Some of whom I have never met, others I am great friends with, all of whom I respect.

My Haberdashery Heroes:

Grandpa Anderson (Mother's Dad)

Grandpa Morganti (Father's Dad)

Cary Grant

The Duke of Windsor

Tom Brokaw

Brian Williams

Don Shelby (WCCO 4 News anchor CBS affiliate Minneapolis)

Peter Jennings

Walter Cronkite

Alan Flusser

Mark Rykken (Alan Flusser Custom Shop)

Bert Downs (good friend, Bert & Jess Clothiers Albuquerque)

Jess Blea (good friend, Bert & Jess Clothiers Albuquerque)

James Michel (good friend, Hubert White Minneapolis)

Tom Hudson (good friend, cuffthis on the LL)

Mr. Alden

I can't honestly say I have any heros, but from time to time something will happen that can't help but move you, inspire you.

One of the great posts did that last spring, I can't find it now for you, but if you search for Alden on Tweed you may find it.

I saved it to my desktop,
It starts with:

"There are probably many readers of the LL living in grey urban jungles who wonder the why and wherefores of the tweeds we admire so much, their colors and the dressing culture they represent........

A thread that definitely deserves to be brought up often.
