Dear LL members,
the latest installment of AA/Esky series is all ready to go except one minor part (well quite important for you guys!) the illustration scans.
I wrote up the article a month back and ever since had been waiting to see if I could resolve the scanning issue... but alas to no avail. Since several members have asked for a recent installment of AA / Esky (its been over 5 months since last one). I have prepared a new one. But without the help in scans it doesn't look like I will be able to get everything done anytime soon.
So this is a call to all US members of LL that are in possession of a scanner & know how to use it efficiently. If you are interested in helping with scanning... PM me or either post here and I will mail you in the illustration. I have already done the hardest part... to convert them from hardcover heavy books to 11"X8.5" size good quality color pages so that they will fit in the scanner nicely.
I need these scans done in the usual 2400x1800 (or whatever close) resolution, about 300 dots per inch & in JPEG format. This is important because it will allow me to modify them for LL post with my basic Photoshop knowledge.
The JPEG scan of these types are usually 2-5 MB so they can be sent back to me via e-mail or if you are kind hearted can burn them on a CD (NOT a DVD) and send it back. If we do this in right amount of time… I can have the new article out by the end of this month. I have about 20 pages to be scanned so this Whole process will take less than half an hour if you know how to do it. Really easy.
any help is greatly appreciated. You will be helping all the LL readers who are interested in these posts.
kind regards
etutee
AA / Esky New articles almost ready! Help with scanning need
Tutee, I can try, though I don't know if my scanner is up to your standards. It's what I used to scan most of the pictures in the "Wedding Attire" post.
Gents
Can we have three volunteers front and center to give Etutee a hand?
Thanks
Michael

I sent Tutee a pm already. This should not be much trouble for me.
