I am the owner of a 36 year old Italian custom tailoring business. We no longer have the time nor the talent to continue making our coats in house. Do you have any thoughts? I have seen the work from Jules, Greenfield, Daniels, Tenuta, Balfour, etc.. I would prefer to work with a small shop.

Thank you,

Trevor

For my money, Jules is the best CMT house in the US.

I do think they make a nice garment. I do not like how they cut or set their sleeves.

I appreciate your thoughts.

I have had clothes from Martin Greenfield, and I strongly recommend his company.

I know Martin and his sons, Jay and Todd. You can feel free to call them and mention my name.

I know of some very reputable tailors/clothiers who use either Greenfield or Jules. Your best bet would be to contact Greenfield and Jules, inspect their products, and address your technical questions to them.

Good luck.

I also recommend Greenfield. It's a responsive organization, in my personal experience, and Martin is a great gentleman.
