An obituary is the obvious place to put a flattering photo of the recently departed. A couple of photos in The Times have shown their subjects to be folk of considerable sartorial elegance as well as political or social standing. (Forgive my concentrating on a couple of personal heroes of mine..)

The late Basil Feldman - respected British politician (so in a minority then..) and businessman. Also big brother to actress Fenella Fielding.

That herringbone suit just looks so comfortable.
