Manton Reappears
Saw our old friend Manton on one of the Sunday morning political shows. Can't say that I much agreed with his defense of the current administration. However, he was looking just as you would expect a London Lounger to look. Suit of heavy cloth and very expertly tailored. All the other suits on the show likely cost as much or more. He just looked better; comfortable, relaxed yet very appropriately dressed for the occasion.

A Times (NY) article noted he left the WH and has joined a college in DC as a lecturer. Whatever your politics, certainly one heck of a story -

Perhaps resigning from the world of politics will make him reappear on forums? That would be cool.

Anton was a bit over finicky but I never found him to be disrespectful.

What purpose does a pseudonym serve, if the true name of the author is revealed? Merely style.
