The Great Stanley Cohen of Isles Textiles passed away on Monday at 90 years.
Stanley was in the Schmatta Trade for 75 years.
He would track me down and scold me for not paying on time.
He was a great guy and i will miss him.

Stanley was a lovely and good man.

He was one of "The Three Musketeers" of older, Jewish clothing men in New York including Martin Greenfield and Jay Walter.

I had the honor of handling a legal matter for him. I shall miss our conversations.

Isles Textiles continues under the excellent direction of Christine.

Stanley was a textile professional and always an interesting man to be with. Sometimes you only get one of these qualities.
He worked as long as he could, such was his love of his trade.

Rest in peace, Stanley

Stanley Cohen was a gentleman of grace and wit, a generous spirit and caring man. He did his profession proud, and will be missed.
