To sum up the whole book: Cary Grant was a self-made man who knew his physique and found out the details and structures that best flattered him. As examples I mention that he kept his shirts buttoned with few exceptions, to hide a thick neck, and his tailors extended Grant's jacket shoulders to visually minimize the actor's big head. Once you've read the book you will know all this and much more.
