I have to agree. Although brushes are not cheap, they must be viewed as something that won't be in the medicine cabinet forever and ever. They do wear out and must be replaced. While it's certainly not a good idea to mash the brush down into your face, one does have to work up the hairs and moisten them for the shave, and that requires a bit of vigour.

Also, thanks to the poster who provided the link to classic shaving. It's provided a very convenient and comprehensive shopping experience.
