Neapolitan Shirts in NYC

I was most interested to read Alden's comments about prefering his bespoke shirts without stays. Since I am used to the London convex type collars with stays essential, I would be fascinated to see this alternative. Are they like the Cary Grant collars in say "North by North West" where he wears soft peaked collars although in other respects the shirts are formal with double cuffs? Are the collars large in the modern Italian style or smaller as in traditional thirties style? A picture would be most appreciated.

I recently ventured into a shop in Belgravia called Gio Genco which specialises in Neapolitan tailoring. They offer an order service for shirts that look exceedingly well made, with copious hand stitching: yoke, armholes, collar, buttonholes. I am not sure whether to classify it as a made to measure or bespoke shirt, but the handwork on their samples is stunningly beautiful. The price is no more than the better Jermyn Street places would charge for the machine stitched bespoke offering. There is no minimum order.

I have not placed an order as I am currently awaiting the results of another Italian shirt experiment, and they did not have the pink poplin I wanted. But I was certainly tempted. As one would be, on a Saturday after lunch.
