generally, I would agree with you. However, I see both sides.
For a customer who is new to bespoke, there is a lot to learn and to get acquainted with. A customer embarking on a bespoke experience on such a distance with a travelling tailor, is adding additional complexity to a process he is not familiar with. The more a customer is unexperienced, the more difficult he will find it to deal with his tailor appropriately. Remember the Orson Welles film
Dempsey may not agree with me - but I think he has learned a lot by his experience, was helped considerably by the members of this precious forum, has found happiness with a tailor who is more accessible for him in terms of distance, and may even sort out the mess with Huntsman.
Finally, Dempsey raises a point which I find interesting: why are American tailors not travelling to other U.S. cities?
