Best leather for Lapland boots and furcoat

Well I'm no chemist but my small experience of playingrugby for more than ten years have led me to hate synthetic jerseys because of...the smell. On the other hand though, playing rugby on a rainy day with a cotton jersey is a nightmare - unless you like to feel you have a soaked towel on your torso for 80 minutes...
Maybe I should try a wool jersey then...
