I will admit to being something of a YouTube addict. It is an endlessly fascinating source of news and assorted nonsense that helps while away the hours while Mrs M watches the likes of Dr Pimple Popper or Say Yes to the Dress on the TV.

I lately came across this series of short films that has me absolutely captivated. If your Italian isn't fluent, you'll need to click on the subtitles buttons, but frankly it's so mesmerising, you can make a fair pitch at what's being said anyway.

Trousers : I had no idea there was so much to them. Forgive my glib assumptions that they were somehow an 'easy' part of tailoring. But now - wow. I am convinced otherwise.

Any time a tailor turns a 2 dimensional piece of fabric into something that's 3 dimensional, has to be comfortable, practical, .look good and pass muster with wive's, girlfriend's etc, then you are getting your money's worth. e just "make' it look easy!!
