1) Someone wrote that Charvet has "3 levels" of bespoke service. I may have misunderstood, was this referring to RTW, MTM, and full bespoke? Or are there 3 levels of bespoke, presumably related to how custom-made the shirts are?

2) Would Charvet ever copy a shirt?

3) Do they send swatches like Bugelli does and did for me?

Just curious.

I could apply the same questions to Battistoni and Budd, for me, the two other interesting "big" names in the shirt world.

is in London, so they're fluent in English. Give them a call, remembering the time difference.

Charvet has a bespoke service starting at 350 Euros a pop. Then they have what they call a demi-mesure or MTM service. Lastly, they have RTW shirts in the store. I have tried their bespoke shirts and can attest to their quality. Having tried a couple of other English shirtmakers (T&A, Budd), it is still Charvet that I go back to today - even if they cost significantly more...

I am sure that Charvet can 'copy' certain details in a shirt, and will take suggestions. However, they might take offence if you ask them to copy any shirts outright! Also, given the firm's pricing, this could turn out to be very dear!

Hope this helps.
