Manself I would be delighted to do a LL blade if there were five subscribers.

I would suggest a classic Pattadese model, 12 cms blade made in forged carbon steel, with a ram's horn handle in the color called bionda (as in the photo above of a Dorgelese model.)

As a person with a German education, I would say - wait wait wait.
A knife is a tool. It can be beautiful. And it should be beautiful. But in first place it has to be briliantly engineered using the best materials.
The first thing I select in a knife is the steel. No high tech steel, no chance.

To use an unspecified steel is not in the style of London Lounge. This would be like a suit from Savile Row using a misterious chineese fabric.

Exactly. When you work with a master knife maker all these details are gone over in detail especially as to the choice of steel to be used for the blade. I like carbon steel blades, the traditional ones used in these Sardinian masterpieces. Oner of my favorites is the Austrian tool steel K720 aka "02".

The trick to K720 is the tempering. It has to be forged at a very precise temperature range or it risks being fragile. But done right it is splendid and as it ages it take on a lovely dark gray patina.
