This from someone who HATES Robb report: there is a very, very nice article about Centofanti and Trabelza in the current Robb Report. It really captures Mr Centofanti's gentle and paternal personality. It also captures his style, and the lack of waist suppression is actually something that bothered me in his technique. There is very little fluff in the article. If you want to see why so many of Centofanti's confreres admire and love him (Len included), this article might give a hint. Len is quoted, by the way. For all the sniping that goes on between clients (us) about this or that tailor's not being a REAL tailor, there is an exclusive "mafia" of tailors who all know each other and admire one another. When I found a tailor who spoke so highly of other famous tailors and they reciprocated, I knew I had located MY tailor. When Centofanti is no longer tailoring, I will more than likely go to someone he recommended.

Thanks for the heads up. I look forward to reading more about Trabalza myself.

I am in the middle of reading the article, all I can at this point is that it is a good read with some nice photos. Mr. Kissel as always has done a great job in his writing. Also be sure to check out the 21 ultimate gifts section, Loro Piana has something in there.

Best Regards,
