I have a lovely 100% cashmere Borrelli coat that has a very soft hand and is strongly carded. I am a little worried that over the years it will begin to disintegrate, or at least become fluffier and fluffier. Any advice on how I can try to arrest this natural progression? What about brushing it?

Thanks!

Keep it clean by gentle brushing with the softer side of a good clothing brush -- Kent for example. Steam out wrinkles and brush often. I'd be very reluctant to send something as fine as this to a cleaner -- ever. . .
