thank you. The silk braid on the trousers is the same black silk satin used for the shawl collar.

My bespoke peak lapel DB dinner jacket in progress
I would like to share with fellow members my DB dinner jacket's progress. This is my first DB dinner jacket with vents.
It is a light 9/10 oz. black barathea.
grosgrain silk facing (the direction of grosgrain is quite the opposite of other djs)
grosgrain silk covered buttons
the V of the jacket will be lowered

Is it done yet?
I particularly liked the fact that there was not tension visible while seated and -at the same time- was not too loose when standing up. Well cut jacket.
I also believe that opening up the V a bit is a good move, although usually DB peak lapels show less shirt than the shawl collar.

Nice, fabrics.
I also have a bespoke DB dinner suit similar to yours.
It was an advice of many London Loungers' that convinced to get a bespoke dinner suit, and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made on clothing!

yasu10s. At some point in the future you might want to follow the full advice of the LL and cover those buttons with grosgrain. I´m pretty sure that the overall look of the jacket would be improved even more.
