From the owners of The Wolseley and the Delaunay. Looks to be at least stylistically intriguing. Planned opening in October:

A report from any locals who stop in, on amenities (food and drink, tea, etc.), ambience, and so forth, would be welcome.
Forthcoming: Beaumont Hotel, Mayfair

What an interesting new hotel.
The spot is a devil to get to by car at the moment with CrossRail road closures everywhere and the US embasy road closures that have grown up over the last couple of decades but both of those will be gone before long.
It is close to Oxford Street and more convenient for Marylebone and South Audley/Mount Street than Piccadilly and St James.
