Anyone with any knowledge of Toronto tailoring services?
I have a beautiful suits which Steed made up wonderfully for me, but customs had the nerve to open the package up to inspect it. When I picked up the package, one of the lapels was poorly folded and the roll on it now very lopsided compared to the other side. I'm in Toronto for the next few weeks, and was trying to find someone here who could do a proper pressing and restore my lapel for me, but searching online is proving difficult for finding someone who can provide that service.
Anyone have any ideas or experience on where to take or not to take things in Toronto?

Dear Stobo,

just in case you get no reply: check with the concierge of a 5-star hotel if there is a good alteration tailor for a pressing service, or a first class dry cleaner who is hand ironing suits.

Cheers, David

I have no first hand experience, but following the line of David´s good advice, I would ask in the bespoke hubs of Harry Rosen or John Ferrigamo or other Toronto´s household names in men´s tailoring. You will get a good recommendation, or you might even get the service while you wait. :)

Dear Stobo,

While you are locating a suitable source for pressing, I trust you have the jacket hanging on a well-shaped hanger. Without seeing the distortion, of course, I can't be sure, but I would think the quality of the pad-stitching on Steed's lapels might allow the proper rolls to reassert themselves after several days if allowed to hang unrestricted through a few humidity cycles. I have often been surprised at how well bespoke jackets recover from packing trauma without the interventions I had assumed would be required.

I went to one of the local well known bespoke tailors and they offered to fix it for me.
To your point couch, it certainly improved with a few days hanging, but unfortunately did not resolve.
Best
