Overall, it seems to me that President Obama dresses in a manner expected for the leader of a modern democracy, dark suit, white shirt, very conservative tie. Nothing to make any statements or call attention plus or minus. However, the fit of his collar, the presentation of the tie in it, and the shape and drape of his ties are ideal and worthy of note. Can any one comment on his source?

Oh my Republican friend, you are confusing the cost of a tie with the sign-up fee under the Affordable Health Care Act.
I am interested in the former.

I agree that his presentation in this regard is now usually very good. It has been interesting to watch it improve and develop over the years; for instance a wider spread in the collar that better complements his lean jawline, and a higher collar stand for his long neck. It wasn't always so:
