Peter migrated [from Italy] to America on or about 1893 and lived with his Uncle Costante and Aunt Enfrasia, who were childless, in New York. Peter finished his schooling and learned the trade of mosaic worker with his three Uncles who worked as a company in New York for several years. He returned to Toppo in 1907 and migrated to Sydney, Australia arriving in June 1908.
