We are slowly embarking on a wonderful process of renovating a 30's flat with most of its original substance in great shape. Obviously we will steer away from the "überdesigned and perfect look" as the patina of the place is too good. The wet areas will require some bringing up to date but the rest will only receive a soft cleaning. We are starting to look into the fantastic world of domestic textiles and wallcoverings (papers/cloth and other materials) to add some warmth and individuality.
Does anybody have any tips/suggestions with regards to reference material, essential reading, manufacturers, shops, places to visit?
