Some news from Huntsman's latest newsletter:
"The end of 2012 will see the [Budd] website become transactional too, meaning that our little shop can make a bigger mark and be more accessible."
Also, Huntsman plans to start a blog.
Maybe this is the final END, but as an overseas customer (not for bespoke shirts anymore, but still get some accessories), I applaud this development.

I dont know how to start a new topic but I wanted to mention that today I noticed that J&J Hats on 5th Av @ 32nd St has closed. What a shame. The mens last hat shop in NYC.

Fortunately is not the last hat shop in NYC. Unless you don´t care for Worth & Worth on 45 West 57th (upstairs on the 6th floor). They also have a great selection and great service. Mr. Palacios, owner and master milliner, is a pleasure to deal with.

This is not a bad thing, in my humble opinion. The market for quality will always be small and spread around the world. As someone who no longer travels extensively I welcome the opportunity to buy things online. This is a way for a company to increase turnover for its offerings and continue in business whereas relying on customers being able to travel to a geographical location to purchase might not be enough.
