Dear Claymoor,
good job in "detecting" master shoemaker T. Slinger. Being in a small town 200 miles north of London is not the best for accessibility.

I very much appreciate this kind of not very famous shoemakers. I think that their effort to survive in a market dominated by big names is remarkable. Especially when they make beautiful shoes in the old tradition way. We see not big brands like Berluti produceing shoes that an inresing number of Gentlemen complain about. So I think shoemaking evolve very much through craftsmen like Mr. Salinger. And I am glad that he remain independent despite the global trend of big names absorbing the small one. (see Delos case).
