They all look pretty good. The ultimate choice will be how well they fit you-- i.e., how you feel wearing them.

Also, the setting, the amount of sunshine, etc., will have something to do with it. So you might have to wait until the day before making your final choice. Neither will be bad.

If you do go for the lighter grey, perhaps consider an even more assertive blue tie.

Sorry I couldn´t convince you to go with something special for your wedding day attire. The light gray suit with a great blue tie would be a correct second best.

I like the tie in general; if the color is accurate on my monitor it should add some luminosity below your face to enliven the gray suit on this occasion. The effect might be more pronounced against the darker suit, but should be fine on either. The silver wedding tie would be more striking with the navy or a very dark gray, such as an Oxford gray.

This is a very fine tie, and will not be inappropriate with the light HB suit. Is it the best choice for you and that day? Up to you. Royal blue could better, but this is so elegant and if it works its way into the scenery then by all means go with it.

I'm planning on a solid white poplin or voile. Either a regular button cuff with a collar that matches the other posted photos (and fits perfectly), or a French cuffed (demi measure Charvet) with less spread in the collar. I have to admit I hate wearing cuff links and my button cuff shirts fit better, so I'm still thinking about it.

It should be plain white, no?

Do you have a loop under the lapel? I think that a simple boutonniere will help to put that nice ensemble a bit more into the right wedding mood.

It was just what we'd hoped for, thanks very much. Absolutely perfect day at a small winery in Sonoma. Wound up with the light gray herringbone suit, white shirt, purple tie. In keeping with tradition, had a loose tie and untied shoes (partially covered by a tallit) during the ceremony, so I looked a bit sloppy until afterward. Still the advice was great; I wound up wearing something more special than I would have chosen on my own. And maybe more importantly, it was very reassuring. Much appreciated.
