Thanks for your replies! The Portland is not exactly my style but in general the Edward Green and Weston shoes are very good looking! The question is... how comfortable they are for actual walking?

I changed the topic title. Are these deconstructed Italian loafers more comfortable for a walk? Example brands, models? I know they are not in season now in places like London but anyways.

This is my first posting and I would like to introduce myself. I am an almost retired senior civil servant old enough to have had his first bespoke suit at age 5 or 6...for want or RTW! RTW is relatively new to guys of my generation and in my days even shoes were bespoke. I concede shoes were somewhat special for bespoke usually began when you had stopped your growth. Sorry I cannot offer you now what I was planning to bring as an introductory gift in the form of a pic. My last moving makes it impossible. All around me is chaos. Anyway. After many years of bespoke I landed in EG and I never looked back. The models I wear are Picadilly and Belgravia with a bias on this last one. It is my understanding that the late King Edward wore them as slippers, something I perfectly understand. I used them as slippers too. And with biz attire, sport...I lost one pair in a fishing outing, just to give you an idea of the model´s versatility and awesome comfort.
