I have been deliberating which boots to buy for winter. I have been looking at Crockett and Jones Coniston. I own a pair of their lined suede chukkas and love them.

Can anyone tell me who makes the boots sold by Charles Tyrwhitt in the UK? I have heard that the Peal sold by Brooks Brothers is made by Crockett and Jones, but I cannot find the Coniston equivalent on their website.

The EG Galway are nice, but a little too dressy for me.

Any suggestions or commments?

Thanks,

Paul

BB's Peal varies from year to year and uses both C&J and Sargent
last year they had the wax leather C&J boot, not coniston, ...and at less than C&J charges
but it's gone this year....

i have a nice pair of cheaney--considerably less pricey than C&J but i feel like theyre not quite up to the quality

but i like them

Hi,

look on the mess dress (website), they have naval dress boots made by sanders&sanders of northhampton, they're like chukkas but not angle in the uppers. They are also at a lower price here than direct for s&s.
