Any sartorial, gastronomic, or otherwise worthy sights to visit whilst in Munich and its environs?

Ah Munich, the most beautiful city in the world! Order Apfelschorle and Schnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat in any case!
Lodenfrei is the place to go for ready to wear, I don't know about bespoke though.

Dear Monsieur Xu,
I always go to the Franziskaner at Residenzstrasse 9, http://www.zum-franziskaner.de
It is very authentic bavarian, a place where the locals go for good beer, wine and local food. Nothing stylish, but a very relaxed and popular place to hang out.
For the more refined taste, do not miss Dallmayr at Dienerstrasse 14. Their gourmet shop is probably the best in Germany. There is also a restaurant. I have not eaten there, but knowing the shop, you should give it a try.
Also recommend to stroll around the Viktualienmarkt, the well known food market in the centre. In one of the corners of the Viktualienmarkt, there is a very nice shop where they sell wonderful hand made brushes.
Cheers, David
PS: Luis is right, avoid the Hofbräuhaus. This is for tourist groups.
