New Monsieur issue
I just received my new issue of Monsieur and it has a fascinating article comparing the tailors of Paris with one another. It is not the sort of in depth analysis that one appreciates in the Lounge, more like fluff, but even fluff on this subject is fun.

It is published in France. I get it sent from France, i do not know if it is available here. I know it existed in the thirties and has been renovated after a long hiatus, but this time around it has been around for many years. I am dying to get the Tintin issue, which I narrowly missed.
You can order the French version here:
http://www.info-presse.fr/revue/monsieur_T3024.htm
Once you have an issue you can subscribe easily (unlike Dandy, for which a subscription is more complicated).
Alternatively, if you speak French, you can call direct 33-15-531-0315 (the number from the USA) and order the magazine. That is the correct number for subscriptions, I have used it before.
As flawed as Monsieur is, it is "the" magazine for Loungers. Dandy was fabulous its first issue but has sort of degenerated into fluff (you know, lots of "luxury" discussions with generous product placements). Monsieur has some of this too but it is really the only game in town, excluding the new Men's Vogue USA, which has yet to prove itself.
One fabulous feature is the monthly review of an adult comic strip, which are much more popular for some reason in France than in the USA. I am a big Tintin fan, so this is great for me.
