They appear to be fine trousers. Out of curiosity why did you not have a fish tail back?

DFR I wanted to occasionally wear the trousers without a coat and would then not wear braces. I felt that a fish tail back might therefore look a little out of place.

Thanks - you are right on that - I just feel braces without fishtail back are slightly wrong.
