What is your favourite watch?

I thought it would be lovely to have a thread where we can post images of our favourite watches! I suggest that we all post a picture of the favourite watch that we currently own and for those of us less fortunate perhaps a picture of a watch they would like to own.

I own a Vintage Rolex (not sure which model it is but it is quite old) and an Omega Seamaster Professional which almost never leaves my wrist!



If I could afford it I would probably buy a Cartier Tank as well.

I like the Cartier tank as well.

I have my grandfather's tank style Bulova from the 50's or 60's that I wear on a regular basis.

As for my really nice watch, I have a tank styled Longines that I got from my parents when I graduated college back in 2005.

My current watch is a Tag Heuer Formula 1 Cronometer that my father gave me for my 16th birthday, as it is clearly a junior watch and now I am 28 years old I have decided to indulge myself soon with my dream watch: a Breitling Navitimer Cosmonaute

I have an IWC Mk XV, a generous gift, which I find a good compromise between a sports or dress watch. On a dark brown leather strap it's quite discrete but retains a sense of purpose about it, and is wearable with almost anything.



Speaking of straps I recently visited the Atelier du Bracelet Parisien, on the Place du Marche St Honore. They are making me a new strap in dark brown matte alligator with gently contrasting stitching. They have an astonishing array of hides overflowing from their drawers, it's great fun to pick the one you want and decide just which bit of it to turn into your strap. The chap there also recommended moving the buckle on my strap back a little bit, as it would then sit more comfortably on my wrist - something I hadn't even considered. Well worth a visit if you're in the area, and they're but a five minute stroll from Charvet ...

Nice tip, next time I'm visiting Paris I'll take a look into this Atelier. BTW gourgeus watch, I'm always been a fan of IWC and I absolutely agree it's wearable with almost everything.
