SR house, cutter or tailor "Cuso"?

Possibly curious question: the other day, an off-SR tailor I talked to mentioned he used to make coats for SR. (I believe this "outsourcing" wasn't actually uncommon in the 1980s.) I asked for whom there, and he murmured something that sounded like Cuso or Kewsaw. Didn't ask again, simply because I didn't want to embarrass him in case he had made that up, though he seemed to be an honest man.

Does that ring a bell?
